Once our inventory is depleted we will no longer carry bats. There isn’t a clear ethical way to source bats and when we purchased our stock from a retired oddities seller we were not made completely aware of the unethical sourcing despite people who sell bats stating that it was from bat farms or under the guise of pest control when that is not always truly the case. We want to preserve items to celebrate the life of an animal, not destroy them for the sake of art. Due to this we will NOT be buying any more bats in the future once our stock is finished.  We do encourage Schools and Educators to contact us if they would like to purchase for Educational purposes, we will be happy to discount any specimens being used for educational purposes.

p10e  #4.11   This is a beautiful nicely framed half skeleton, half flesh Greater short nosed fruit bat under glass in a Shadowbox.  This would look great in any collection and would be a great gift for collectors.  This display is approx. 15 x 12 x 2" and would look nice hanging anywhere! This guy is on a black fabric backing with a black frame.

The greater short-nosed fruit bat, or short-nosed Indian fruit bat, is a species of megabat in the family Pteropodidae found in South and Southeast Asia.

Returns are excepted, please contact us ASAP if you would like to return the item. Return shipping to be paid by buyer.  Once the item is returned a refund will be issued. There are no refunds on shipping charges.
