Once our inventory is depleted we will no longer carry bats. There isn’t a clear ethical way to source bats and when we purchased our stock from a retired oddities seller we were not made completely aware of the unethical sourcing despite people who sell bats stating that it was from bat farms or under the guise of pest control when that is not always truly the case. We want to preserve items to celebrate the life of an animal, not destroy them for the sake of art. Due to this we will NOT be buying any more bats in the future once our stock is finished.  We do encourage Schools and Educators to contact us if they would like to purchase for Educational purposes, we will be happy to discount any specimens being used for educational purposes.

This is a real taxidermy Leaf nosed Bat, framed nicely in a beautiful black shadowbox. He rests on a painted fabric back with preserved flowers and fern along with the "moon"!   He would look great in any collection! In all, this display is approximately  10" x 10" x 2". 

Species: Hipposideros diadema
The diadem leaf-nosed bat or diadem roundleaf bat is one of the most widespread species of bat in the family Hipposideridae. It is probably most closely related to Hipposideros demissus from Makira and to Hipposideros inornatus from the Northern Territory in Australia.
