Once our inventory is depleted we will no longer carry bats. There isn’t a clear ethical way to source bats and when we purchased our stock from a retired oddities seller we were not made completely aware of the unethical sourcing despite people who sell bats stating that it was from bat farms or under the guise of pest control when that is not always truly the case. We want to preserve items to celebrate the life of an animal, not destroy them for the sake of art. Due to this we will NOT be buying any more bats in the future once our stock is finished.  We do encourage Schools and Educators to contact us if they would like to purchase for Educational purposes, we will be happy to discount any specimens being used for educational purposes.

He hangs from a real deer antler and is surrounded by foliage and preserved flowers, a faux miniature skull and mushrooms for shipping purposes and includes a real, bird feathers, snail and ladybug.  This display is approx. 8 x 7 x 5".   Great for your collection or educational purposes.   

Species: Rhinolophus Lepidus
Blyth's Horseshoe bat (Rhinolophus lepidus) is one of the many species of horseshoe bat belonging to the genus Rhinolophus. They acquired their name from their unique spear or leaf shaped nose structure, as well as their fur which gives off a glossy look when view from an angle. They generate their echolocation from the nasal structure (nostril) and the echos received with the nose, which differs from other insectivorous bats which utilize laryngeal echolocation.

All displays will be carefully packed to the best of our ability to insure a safe and damage free arrival. Returns are accepted, please contact us ASAP if you would like to return the item. Return shipping to be paid by buyer.  Once the item is returned a refund will be issued minus a $10. restocking fee on each of these items ordered. There are no refunds on shipping charges.
Items that ship free and are returned for incorrect address or insufficient address will be charged the restocking fee listed to cover initial shipping costs or given the option to purchase shipping for resending the item with corrected address. 
If there was an original shipping fee and the item is returned for an incorrect or insufficient address and you would like the item resent, the option will be given to repurchase shipping. There are no refunds on initial shipping for an incorrect or insufficient address.
