Pinkie Vole fetal Wet Specimen

PV1 Little baby Pinkie Voles that did not make it! These little guys are preserved in 70 percent alcohol and nicely displayed in a specimen plastic bottle. These little guys are approx. 3/4 to 1" and are cute as a button!

Species: Pinky vole Arvicolinae
The Arvicolinae are a subfamily of rodents that includes the voles, lemmings, and muskrats. There are approx. 155 different vole species.


Please note: Due to Usps shipping regulations the specimen will be shipped without alcohol. You will need to fill your specimen jar with 70% isopropyl alcohol which can be purchased at any grocery or drug store for approx $2. at a Family Dollar or Dollar General Store.

All displays will be carefully packed to the best of our ability to insure a safe and damage free arrival. The jar/container is part of the display and does come with the specimen. It is however illegal to ship it in the alcohol so 70 percent rubbing alcohol does need to be added once you receive. The specimen will come in a bag with a tissue paper that has been soaked with just a small amount of alcohol in it to make sure it does not dry in shipping. The specimen should be removed from the bag, added to the jar and filled with the 70 percent alcohol to the top of the specimen once you receive.
If you do not have alcohol readily available you may freeze the specimen, wrap the specimen in double freezer bags with no air in the specimen bag and thaw when you have your alcohol available. THERE ARE NO RETURNS ACCEPTED ON WET SPECIMENS.
