Q18c #4 This little devil turtle is waving his pitch fork and ready to start some Chaos! This is a Gaff made from a real Taxidermy baby turtle that did not make it and we have incorporated a scary skull for his head and we have added horns. He is surrounded by preserved moss, bark and flowers. This is showcased in a glass dome with a wood base. The display is approx. 3 3/4 x 2". This would be a great addition to any collection or a great starter piece!
Definition of Gaff in Taxidermy-In the case of freak animals a gaff wouldn’t be a genuine freak of nature, regardless how convincing it looked, but a specimen manufactured to look freakish.

Turtles under 4" are illegal to have as pets due to the salmonella virus being carried on their shells and young children handling them. Specimens, educational, exhibition and hobby turtles are not illegal. Hence these deceased turtles are not illegal unless they are a protected species and Red Eared sliders are not protected. .

All displays will be carefully packed to the best of our ability to insure a safe and damage free arrival. If free First class shipping is offered and chosen it does not include insurance. If you want your item insured in case of damage in shipping please choose Priority Mail, that includes $100. worth of insurance. Returns are excepted, please contact us ASAP if you would like to return the item. Return shipping to be paid by buyer. Once the item is returned a refund will be issued minus a $8. restocking fee. There are no refunds on shipping charges.
