The necklace cord is 18" silver cord chain and the charm hangs approx. 2" and the necklace comes with a jewelry pouch (each is a little different) so it may be presented as a gift. These are in glass specimen jar with a cork base. You can add other items to the specimen jar if you would like and then I would suggest sealing the top with Elmers or e6000 glue. DO NOT USE SUPER GLUE AS IT WILL FOG THE GLASS.
