This is a wonderful Flying Gecko Lizard display that would be a great addition to any collection! This is a wooden shadowbox with a moss backround. The lizard is displayed on preserved fern and is surrounded by other natural elements including preserved flowers, a real wasp nest with real paper wasp, and two large jewel beetles! This display also opens so the display may be studied. Nice addition to any collection and very elegant looking display. This display is approx. 15" x 7" x 4".
Species- Ptychozoon Kuhlii
Ptychozoon is a genus of arboreal geckos, endemic to Southeast Asia, known commonly as flying geckos, gliding geckos, or parachute geckos. They are lizards in the family Gekkonidae.
Flying geckos, like many other gecko species, have evolved intricate toe pads with microscopic hairs that can adhere to nearly any surface, including glass.
