All our Victorian Style displays are handmade and use almost all natural preserved plant life. We do our best to show each animal in as natural a state as possible (with a few exceptions!). We mimic the Antique Victorian style of Taxidermy showcased in glass domes. We also do a lot of insect displays and anthropomorphic displays with insects and other small animals. All Animals that we work with we do our best to make sure are natural death, road kill, accidental death, food or vintage ready for the trash or are old and need restoration. 
We do not do the taxidermy mounts in house but we work with several different taxidermist that assure us that they share the same views as do and have to rely on that. My grandchildren and friends collect dead bugs for us as well although not all of the bugs are through them and some are purchased through suppliers. This is a hobby that I have enjoyed for the last several years and we at SCO/VTD just love making them. We hope they are displayed, enjoyed and viewed for years to come by both young and old and bring much joy to those that admire and treasure them.
