BH#1 This is a nice wet specimen of a Black Bullhead catfish. This would make a nice addition to any wet specimen collection or curiosity cabinet display. This does include the specimen jar as well. Please see last picture for approx. size.

The black bullhead or black bullhead catfish is a species of bullhead catfish. Like other bullhead catfish, it has the ability to thrive in waters that are low in oxygen, brackish, turbid and/or very warm. It also has barbes located near its mouth, a broad head, spiny fins, and no scales.

Due to Usps shipping regulations the specimen will be shipped with very little alcohol. You can refill it with 70% rubbing alcohol which can be purchased at any grocery or drug store for approx $2. a large bottle at a Family Dollar or Dollar General Store. This specimen will need less than 8 oz.
