Crayfish LRG wet specimen

This is a large wet specimen of a Crawdad or Crayfish. Great addition to any collection. We commend purchasing your own jar to display your specimen. You can find jars at craft stores. Once you receive your specimen, we recommend you fill your jar with 70% alcohol to keep your specimen safe. Please see last picture for size.

species: Malacostraca
Crayfish are freshwater crustaceans resembling small lobsters (to which they are related). They are also known as crawfish, crawdads, freshwater lobsters, mountain lobsters, mudbugs, or yabbies. Taxonomically, they are members of the superfamilies Astacoidea and Parastacoidea. They breathe through feather-like gills.

Please note: Due to Usps shipping regulations the specimen will be shipped without alcohol. You can fill it with 70% isopropyl alcohol which can be purchased at any grocery or drug store for approx $2. at a Family Dollar or Dollar General Store. This display will require 1 bottle. If you don't have the alcohol readily available the specimens can be frozen till you can fill.
