Coyote Skull Glass Dome Showcase

$99.00
H14 #2.15  This is a very nice Coyote Skull showcased nicely in a glass square dome display.  The skull itself is approx. 8" and the display is approx. 10  x 6".  This would look nice in any collection or even room decor for a man cave!  Great also for teaching purposes!  The dome itself is glass with a wood bottom and the skull is displayed within the dome.  I left this skull free floating in the dome because it gave it that mad scientist look!
***The coyote skull has been glued (with e6000) in this open mouth position.  Sometimes in shipping from bouncing around the glue can release, just a drop of glue will put it right back together in any mouth position you would like if this does happen.  We do wrap these to try to avoid that but it can happen and there is no discount for having to re-glue jaws if it does.  We just want our customers to be aware before purchasing. *****

Species and Fun Facts: C.  l a t r a n s

The coyote is an omnivore and can eat many kinds of food: fruits, grasses and vegetables in the autumn and winter months along with small animals, for example rabbits, mice shrews, voles and foxes. They also eat birds, deer, snakes, and lizards. In the city, coyotes find food easily. They dig up plants in gardens and eat food out of garbage cans.
Sometimes, they join small packs (groups), but normally hunt alone. Coyotes live in dens. They dig a tunnel under the ground and then dig out a larger area at the end of the tunnel where they sleep and have their babies or pups. They can have six pups at a time. Often a coyote den will have two entrances, with one that is hidden. Sometimes they dig more than one den, so they can move if an enemy finds the den.
Coyotes do not have many enemies. Wolves used to eat coyotes, but there are not many wolves left in North America compared to the number of coyotes. The biggest enemy of the coyote is people. They do not usually attack people, but sometimes eat small pets such as cats.

NOTE:  If your item is in a glass dome please be aware that the domes are NOT permanently connected to the base.  Care has to be taken when opening or removing the dome so not to damage the display or specimen.
