Huge Squid #1 Wet Specimen

LS#1 This is a beautiful Squid wet specimen. This does not come with a jar. This guy is beautiful! Please see pictures for size with ruler (last picture). You will need to provide your own specimen jar, they are just too costly to ship. Hobby Lobby has a huge selection.
Size is approximately 22 x 6 x 2 1/4" and approx. 12 x 5 x 4" folded over.

Species and fun facts: Dosidicus gigas
The Humboldt squid, also known as jumbo squid, jumbo flying squid, pota, or diablo rojo, is a large, predatory squid living in the waters of the Humboldt Current in the eastern Pacific Ocean. It is the only species of the genus Dosidicus of the subfamily Ommastrephinae, family Ommastrephidae.

Please note: Due to Usps shipping regulations the specimen will be shipped without alcohol. You can fill your specimen jar (large seletion at Hobby Lobby) with 70% isopropyl alcohol which can be purchased at any grocery or drug store for approx $2. at a Family Dollar or Dollar General Store.
