This Wallaby "Fuzzy" is approximately 28 x 18 x 17" and is the best wallaby taxidermy we've ever seen! The fur is SO soft and thick! You don't find these for sale very often and almost never of this quality. This beauty is longing for a forever home! Snatch her up before she hops off to another collector.

Facts: members of most wallaby species are small, some can grow up to approximately two metres in length (from the head to the end of the tail). Their powerful hind legs are not only used for bounding at high speeds and jumping great heights, but also to administer vigorous kicks to fend off potential predators.
The Bennett's wallaby has mostly tawny gray fur, with a white chest and belly, and a dark brown muzzle, paws and feet. This wallaby is also known as the red-necked wallaby, because of the red-tinted fur on the back of its neck and shoulders. Bennett's is the name of the subspecies typically found in Tasmania.
These animals have an acute sense of smell and hearing. Their large ears are capable of moving 180 degrees independently, allowing them to remain alert for potential predators, such as dingoes.
As members of the genus Macropus, meaning "long foot," Bennett's wallabies are closely related to kangaroos and wallaroos. This genus includes some, but not all, other wallaby species. Shared adaptations within this genus include highly developed hind legs, a sturdy, tapered tail that aids in balance, a forward-opening pouch with four teats, underdeveloped vocal chords and eyes set high on the skull. In general, wallabies tend to be smaller than kangaroos and wallaroos and can be distinguished by their darker muzzle and paws.
One of the macropods most identifiable traits is their unique form of locomotion. Though best known for hopping, kangaroos, wallaroos and wallabies can also crawl and swim! Hopping is their most efficient means of travel when moving at speeds greater than 9 miles per hour (15 kilometers per hour). At the end of each bounce, when the legs are bent, energy stored in the tendons contributes to extending the leg and the next bounce. This transfer of energy is similar to a pogo stick.

All displays will be carefully packed to the best of our ability to insure a safe and damage free arrival. With Ground Advantage and Priority mail you will be covered by $100 worth of insurance. If damage occurs in shipping and your item was shipped with Ground Advantage or Priority mail, the post office now requires you to bring the package in to a postal center/office for inspection before any insurance payments will be approved and the item has to be in the original shipping box with all packing as you received still in box. Your refund will be processed once the package has been inspected and the receipt from the post office acknowledging the inspection is forwarded to us. This is an ordeal that no one wants to go through, including us, so we do our best to make sure no one has too!
Please contact us as soon as you receive if you would like to return the item. Returns are accepted if the request is received for the return within 14 days of delivery and the return must be received by us within 30 days of the delivery. Return shipping to be paid by buyer. Once the item is returned a refund will be issued. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS ON ANY SHIPPING CHARGES.
Items that ship free and are returned for incorrect address or insufficient address will be charged a restocking fee or shipping fee to cover initial shipping costs and the balance refunded or given the option to purchase shipping for resending the item with corrected address.
If there was an original shipping fee and the item is returned for an incorrect or insufficient address and you would like the item resent, the option will be given to repurchase shipping. There are no refunds on initial shipping for an incorrect or insufficient address.
