W20d #4 This is an adorable Baby Red Eared Slider Turtle in an antique Victorian Style display. These guys are cute as can be! He is surrounded by moss, wood, preserved fern and flowers 2 lady bugs and a snail! He is busy checking out the ladybug above him-DINNER! He is climbing a piece of drift wood. The display is approx. 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" (90mm x 50mm dome) and is a glass dome on a wood base. The dome will keep your display clean and safe for years to come!

Turtles under 4" are illegal to have as pets due to the salmonella virus being carried on their shells and young children handling them. Specimens, educational, exhibition and hobby turtles are not illegal. Hence these deceased turtles are not illegal unless they are a protected species and Red Eared sliders are not protected. .
Red-eared Slider (Trachemys scripta elegans) The Red-eared Slider is a freshwater terrapin that is native to the Mississippi River Basin of North America. This species gets its name from the red stripe behind its eye, and its habit of sliding off rocks or logs into the water when it is startled.
