This is an absolutely stunning display of a parakeet taxidermy bird mounted on an elegant metal pedestal. The bird is a high quality piece of taxidermy and is surrounded by colorful, real, preserved flowers, ferns, and mosses! This display is approximately 15" x 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" and would be a wonderful addition to any collection or a great gift!

The bird will not be on the pedestal for shipping. It has wires in its feet and can be pushed right back down into the Stryrofoam base when you receive.
species and fun facts-Melopsittacus undulatus Budgerigar
The budgerigar is a long-tailed, seed-eating parrot usually nicknamed the budgie, or in American English, the parakeet. Budgies are the only species in the genus Melopsittacus. Naturally, the species has scalloped markings on the nape, back, and wings.
